I am a 23 year old girl geek (to the core) who enjoys playing guitar, eating lots of pasta and watching a good movie on a lovely rainy day. I love spending time with my boyfriend of three years, Chaz, and our two kitties: Oreo and Cody.
Being born into a military family, I've gotten to visit (and sometimes live in) several exotic places including Mexico, Japan, Suriname, Costa Rica, Guatamala, Barbados, Aruba, England, and many others. I am originally from the USA.
I consider the many cultures I've known to be the most influencing experiences of my life and wouldn't trade it for anything. :) I positively love to travel and have always planned to visit as many places as possible and experience life to the fullest.
My hobbies include web design and writing poetry and songs. I am also obsessed with all kinds of video games in the genres of MMORPGs, RPGs, RTSs and simulation. My ultimate favorites are the Final Fantasy series for PlayStation, World of Warcraft, The Sims 2, and Rollercoaster Tycoon 3.
My list of books to read is lengthy, I actually prefer mix CDs and playlists over store-bought albums and love movies like the Matrix and Underworld. I also enjoy Anime series and films, especially those created by the incredible director Hayao Miyazaki (Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, etc).
My goals include living 100 years, visiting every continent on the planet, and growing my hair out long enough so that by the time I am 80 I will have a beautiful silver braid trailing down my back. Only about 80 more years, three more continents, and 20 more inches of hair left until I can rest in peace.
About the Site
Guitarangel.net has been alive and well since July of 2002. I purchased the domain at GoDaddy.com. As for hosting, it got shuffled through three different hosts before it finally found a home at Netrillium, where it lived for five years.
In 2007 it moved to A Small Orange, which was a great experience. However, it went through a few growing pains in February of 2008 and was ultimately switched to Site5, where it now happily resides.
So, why GuitarAngel.net? Well, I positively love to play guitar! And "angel" has been a part of my online persona for a while, most of my screen names and profiles used to have that word in them. So when it came time to decide on a domain name at the time, combining those two things seemed perfect enough for me! :)
Curious as to how I accomplished certain things on my site? Try checking out the extras section where I've compiled a few walkthroughs on how to do certain techniques.
