Evil Toothpaste!

August 11th, 2006

Yeah so by now I'm sure most of you have heard on the news about the hightened security at airports now because of that whole evil liquid thing. It's ironic that this has to happen the day before I go fly to visit my family for a week! Grr...lol. :P I found this on the Travelocity website:

All travelers are being advised to travel light. If you are traveling within the UK, you will have to check ALL of your belongings (except your ID, wallet, and necessary medications). Laptops, mobile phones and iPods are among the electronic items banned in carry-on luggage on British flights. Liquids, gels, and pastes are no longer permitted on board any aircraft within the U.S. and UK (This includes toothpaste, sunblock, and perfume.)

Well fabulous. I'm glad laptops won't be banned in on US flights, I really don't want to (and refuse to) check my laptop in just its case. And without a lock on the case either. No way, there is no way I want people tossing around my precious and getting it all dented and crazy. :( NO WAY!
