Motorola Razr V3

I'm getting a new phone, woot! :D My contract with Sprint is up next week, so I went ahead and switched to AT&T. Most of my family and friends have it, so I totally wanted it for the free mobile to mobile thing.

I ended up getting the Razr V3 in pink! I know tons of people have that phone these days, but I wanted something pink and classy, hehe. I never normally go for what "everyone" has, but I make exceptions from time to time. :D

I finally named my new kitten! His name is now Cody (isn't it cute?!) and he fits it quite well. :) He's getting along great with Oreo, Chaz's 10yr old cat. They're like brothers, wrestling around! :D

He has several little toys, including a little stuffed puppy I found for him today. It is SO adorable when he picks it up with his little mouth and carries it from room to room! I've put up a few new pictures of him on my Flickr page!

The Sims 2: Bon Voyage

There's a new expansion pack for the Sims 2 coming out called Bon Voyage, finally we can let them take vacations, woo!

There was an EP for the Sims 1 that was similar, so I was hoping they'd make one for the sequel. :D So yay! You can take them to three different places, according to the website: camping, a remote island and the Far East. It looks amazing so far and I can't wait to get it in September, when it releases!

Oh and speaking of Sims stuff, if anyone remembers me blogging about the Sims Life Stories, I think I was too hasty to assume that the "free play" style was exactly like the normal Sims 2. Apparently it is just like the two playable "stories" that come with the game, meaning you have to accomplish goals in order to further the "stories" of your sims. That's just what I'm guessing, I haven't tried playing it yet. My opinion is that it still doesn't measure up to the regular Sims 2 with all its expansion packs and custom content! :P

I hope my phone gets here soon, yay! Have a fabulous weekend, everyone! :D

I have AT&T (which is weird to say, because it was Cingular for so long!), and I have that same phone! You’re right, lots of people have it. Colin has a blue one and my dad has the black one. :D I’m glad Cody now has a name and is getting along good with Oreo. Pouncy has quite taken to my one-eyed fish Freebie. It’s cute. :D

The Sims: Life Stories are compatible with custom contents. There are some hacks that doesn’t work, but clothing, objects, genetics etc mods should work fine.

I don’t think Life Stories is trying to replace the Sims 2, but it’s more-so a much more laptop-friendly alternative of the Sims 2.

I’d totally get a Razr except I am very attached to Nokia’s feature that allows you to store more than one phone number under a contact without having to make seperate ones just for someone’s cell phone and stuff. I’m under Cingular/AT&T too, but I might be switching to Verizon, Idk. What I really need is a new phone and my own plan instead of being under my parent’s name.

Cody is so flippin cute! He’s friends with my kitties on Facebook, haw haw!

I’m hoping to see you updating around here a bit more. Miss hearing from ya!

Ooo you’re going to love that phone. I had a v3 for 2 years, bought it for like 800 bucks right when it came out and never a regret. It’s totally dead now though, because I used it very intensively. But it’s an awesome, awesome phone. Right now I have a fuchsia pink LG Chocolate but I kind of miss my v3… :(

I hope you’ll enjoy your new phone and arrival of your little Cody. :) I already commented on your pictures of him. I love The Sims 2, it’s one of my favourite games. However, my computer doesn’t agree with it, and stopped working when I added Seasons. XP Making stuff is fun!

My sister has a Razr and loves it! I hope you enjoy it! I think Cody is a super cute name. :)

Hey jealousy!! *sings*

I want a pink razr!! PINK phone! How can you go wrong?

God bless kitties…

Ok, now I have to get Clayton to find me that pack. Oh, and my family has progressed pretty well so far. I’ve used only one cheat and that’s illness immunity. Hehe… Their vast fortune came from my Sim marrying rich… So.. yay, new EP! :art:

I love my RAZR. I was against them at first because they were the “in” thing but I actually got to check out my roommate’s and fell in love. Mine is plane ol’ silver because the colored ones were 10-20 more and I’m too cheap. The ONLY complaint I have about the RAZR (or motorla) is that the voicemail indicator doesn’t go away a lot of the time after I listen to my voicemails so I end up missing a voicemail because I think the indicator hasn’t gone off before but really I have a new one. It is quite annoying!

The Sims 2 — Ahh! I have been too cheap to buy that game because I think it is ridiculously priced especially when you have to buy all of the expansion packs to add things. I’ve wanted it since the day it came out though. Maybe someday I’ll get it but I have a feeling I’d be addicted to it and I’d get zero done!

Razrs are sweet looking phones. I wish I could switch to AT&T, but I’m stuck with crappy T-mobile for the next year.

I was also reading your previous blog entry about your kitten, adorable! Cody is a cute name.
