Here's my latest little cutie pixel cam! It pops up on Pixelcam.org.
Whooo...today I created my eBay profile page and added six new items up for auction. Hopefully they will go quickly, I'm still pretty new to this selling thing. I'm also hoping I'll get a good price for each thing...hehe...if you're interested go check the list out! The items are a belt, a dress, a hat, two pairs of sandals, and an AP European History book.
The shipping and handling are $5.00 for US and $7.00 for Canada for all of the items. I hope that's a good price for that...someone comment on this entry if you think I should change it...hehe.
Oh yes, I changed the default layout back to my roses layout.
I like that one better than the Spooky Nights one...but if you still would like a little Halloween flavor, then please go ahead and keep it, or whichever layout you like! It's up to you!
Now for Saturday's memes, sorry I'm a few hours late, hehe.
The first one is a regular question/answer dealie...the second is a kind of short story that came from a meme where you are supplied three fragments of a few words each that you are supposed to create a story or something from. I think I did pretty good.
The fragments that were given to me are the italicized words.
Saturday's Scruples
You feel you're underpaid. Do you still give your job 100%? Of course, but I would probably raise the concern with my employer to maybe ask for a raise or something.
You wrote a brilliant essay but only got a C. A friend repeated the professor's lecture and got an A. Next time, do you echo the professor's view? I probably would because maintaining a 4.0 (or close to) GPA has always been vital to me...I would die if I got a C.
A friend (or family member) is in dire financial straits. Do you offer him/her a loan? If I had the money and the means, of course I would.

He was one of those popular guys, she could tell. She noticed him the minute he walked through the door, her heart skipping a beat as he took the seat in front of hers. She couldn't help but stare at the back of his head...that gorgeous brown hair...the scent of Old Spice and Tommy cologne almost sending her mind into a spin.
She was new in town and didn't know many people besides the neighbors next door who had a screaming baby and a dog that constantly barked. This was only her second day of school and already she had a major crush. Before he sat down she had noticed the deep green of his eyes and his easy-going smile that gave her the feeling he was a stable-minded guy who was content with himself and with his life. The fade of his jeans and the college letters on his sweatshirt he wore made her think that he was comfortable person who at least had an idea of where he was going in life and could make decisions.
She realized that she had been holding her breath since he had walked in and quickly reddened, her hair falling over her face. She hadn't wanted to be so obvious, but it was like she couldn't help it. In a room full of people, seniors in high school, where a good number of the guys were cute and funny and very much date-able, for some reason this boy stood out. Besides him being good-looking and pretty cool from the thoughts that came from the vibe she felt, she really couldn't put a finger on why he seemed to radiate this glow of goodness that touched her heart to the very core.
She looked up and brushed her hair aside to find him turned around in his seat looking at her. She blushed again, but her embarrassment dissappeared when he smiled brightly at her and said: "Hey, you must be new here. This AP class is a beast...I usually like English but this teacher is just incredibly anal about everything." He stuck his hand out. "My name is Brian, what's yours?"
In awe of his nice-ness, she slowly shook his hand and quietly said, "I'm Melanie." He smiled again. "Well, Melanie, do you need someone to show you around school and stuff? This place can be a real maze...and even though you're a senior I'm sure if some of the wrong people find out you're new you'll probably get the usual grief the freshman get." They laughed and made plans for him to walk her to her next class.
The teacher rapped a pen against his desk to signify that class was starting. Brian turned back around in his seat and Melanie was left to stare again at the back of his head, completely amazed at what had just taken place. She had never made friends as quickly with someone, especially a guy, in all the other times she had moved, which had been alot because of her father being in the military. She had been particularly upset about this move because it was her senior year in high school and her thought was that if you didn't have friends going into the year then it all would pretty much suck.
But now she had a really good feeling about this place and this year of school. And as she gazed at Brian once again...noting the broadness of his shoulders and the slant they made as he settled back into his chair...she knew things were going to work out and could only get better from here. And for the first time...in her entire life of moving, making friends and losing them, dating and heart breaking, making choices and being unsure about things...she knew she was in the right place.
Ahh…don’t those roses rock!!!! It’s soo cute!! the pixel cam tt is. Hope you drop by soon!
