Saturday 8
1. Do you have a specific and unique rule that you or your family follow at the dinner table? All of my answers here will apply to when I'm home visiting my immediate family. Well, we always sit with my dad at the head of the table, my mom to his right, I'm to his left and then my other two sisters sit on either side of me and Mom. We say this prayer that rhymes that my mom made up when we were little and then we clink glasses together. Those things have been pretty close to "rules" I guess...traditions.
2. What is a specific activity, behavior or tradition that occurs in your family during certain holidays or birthdays? Hm...lol, on anyone's birthday when my mom bakes a cake...we all have slices of it on the day we celebrate...and then it's always been a tradition in my family to what we call "fork the cake" a day or two later...which is really just me, my sisters and my dad eating the rest of it with forks. Yum!
3. How do the various members of your family greet each other? What about extended family such as cousins, aunts or uncles? With hugs I guess...or heeeyyyy whats UP...something like that. Hehe.
4. How do you or your family treat visitors to your house? Are there different treatments for different visitors? With tons of courtesy, depending on the visitor. My sisters and I were brought up with serious manners when it comes to guests and we don't let our parents down. It comes from being the daughter of an American diplomatic family who has entertained many foreign guests in the past in other countries.
5. What foods are special or unique to your family? You know, I thought all kids ate Jello blocks until I was older. Most people call them "jello jigglers"...it's always been a thing for my family.
6. What names do you use to call your grandparents or other older relatives? When my grandparents were alive I called them Oma & Opa and Grandma & Papa.
7. What values have you learned from your parents? Almost every moral and value you can think of, lol. Growing up in a military family does that to you.
8. From what countries have your ancestors immigrated? I know I have German in me...that's for sure.

What do you like on your pizza? Cheeeese!!! What can I say...I'm a Plain Jane when it comes to pizza...I just like cheese and only cheese...if you're talkin' frozen then I adore a Red Baron 4-Cheese pizza! If delivery...give me Papa Johns...oh yeah. Hehe.
