8 Simple Rules
I have no cable because I am a poor, poor college student. Fortunately I have about four actually decent channels with decent shows, hehe. One of those shows is 8 Simple Rules, which is about a crazy family. It's not one of my favorite shows, lol, but it's better than being stuck watching a reality court tv show or Jerry Springer. :P The show came on TV while I was doing web work and I realized that the episode I was watching was of the passing away of the father in the show, Paul Hennessey, played by John Ritter. Now, like I said earlier, this show is not high on my favorites list...but it actually shocked me that the father had died. So I googled the show and discovered the Wikipedia page for 8 Simple Rules. That's where I read about the real life death of John Ritter, and how the show had to incorporate his passing into the actual script to hopefully continue on. It's just really sad. :( John Ritter's real death was very sudden, as it says on Wikipedia, and it was the same way on the show...very sudden. I had seen episodes before this one where his character wasn't there, but I never even thought that it would be because he had died. I think I heard about it happening to the actor way back then...but you hear names of actors and people and you never really associate them with their characters until you find out what their real name is. Just makes you think...about real life and how precious it is.

Oh, i remember when John died. I’ve been a fan of his since he was on Three’s Company. I was really really sad when he died. :(
