Ok...lame is the word. I am so lame. There is no logical (and financial) reason for me to want to get FFIX....and yet I bid for a copy on eBay. :o The funny thing is that I seem to be going backwards through the series, hehe....the first Final Fantasy games I played were FFX and FFX-2. Now I'm attempting to get IX...it currently costs too much for me to get into XI, which is an online multiplayer game that is still mega-expensive in certain areas. So yes...I declare myself officially obsessed. Anybody seen today's Woot? It's pretty cool...but not as cool as yesterday's Woot which was a wireless optical mouse and keyboard combo for around $20. It sold out before noon! But oh my lord, people....THIS is what I utmost desire. The Alienware MJ-12m mobile workstation in Cyborg Green! Yes yes yes! Although before I even attempt to buy one of those heavenly machines I need money....and then some sound advice on techie-buying from my fellow geek friends....this could take a while. *Sigh*... :worried: oh well...one can dream, yes? Is anyone around here into Anime? I've been slowly building my repetoire of Anime films and games over the past year or so. Emphasising the word slowly. I just finished Volume 1 of Lain, which is ok. I am more partial to the works of Hayao Miyazaki....which include movies of breathtaking art and beautiful storylines such as Kiki's Delivery Service, Castle in the Sky, Spiritied Away, Princess Mononoke and My Neighbor Totoro. It is incredible, I tell you....and yes, again, like with Final Fantasy games....I am completely obsessed. And proud of it! There is just something about the graceful scenes, places full of color and characters with great courage and personality that sets Miyazaki's work (and Anime itself, at least for me) apart from other media productions...if that makes any sense. Ok, I've talked myself into watching one...have a great Tuesday!
