Friday Five
1. What vehicle do you drive? Toyota Echo.
2. How long have you had it? Since spring of 2002.
3. What is the coolest feature on your vehicle? Erm...I just like how small it is. I can maneuver around things easily.
And its pretty zoom-y too.
4. What is the most annoying thing about your vehicle? Umm...probably the alarm system, which I need to decrease the sensitivity on.
5. If money were no object, what vehicle would you be driving right now? Either a silver or blue GT Mustang or one of the new Mini Coopers.
Past, Present & Future
PAST: Describe the best breakfast you've ever had. I would probably say when I went on a cruise to the Bahamas last spring break they had some awesome food, including breakfast. Eggs, pancakes, waffles, crepes, toast, cereal, fruit, sausage, bacon, orange juice....mmmm....
PRESENT: What did you have for breakfast today? Starbucks Tall Cafe Mocha and a toasted plain bagel with cream cheese.
FUTURE: You have the means, the motive and the opportunity. Create for us... the ultimate breakfast! Yay!
Just give me salted scrambled eggs, three pieces of bacon, two pieces of buttered white toast, three buttermilk pancakes with butter and maple syrup, a tall cafe mocha from Starbucks, and a bottomless cup of orange juice!! Oh yeah...and some Tums.
Weekly Wrapup
1. How easily do you get angry? Has this changed over time? If so, how? Not too easily. Depending on the situation, but this is the case most times, I usually don't get upset if things don't go my way or end up how I wanted it to. Of course when I was younger I would get more annoyed and lose my temper easier because I was a teenage girl growing up, hehe. I think that's definitely changed over time...ask my friends and family.
2. How do you express your anger? Through words if I'm talking to someone. If I'm mad usually the best thing to do would be to leave me alone because unfortunately I'll probably find something to bite your head off about even if what I'm really mad about has nothing to do with you.
3. What behaviors, things, people, etc. trigger your Angry Button? Why? Dishonesty, unfaithfulness, backstabbing, stupidity, ignorance, bad drivers, rudeness for no apparent reason, whining, selfishness, people who always talk about themselves...
4. Has your anger ever backfired on you and resulted in more trouble for you than for the target of your anger? If so, how? Yeah, probably. Sometimes if I'm upset my mind can get carried away thinking all kinds of thoughts and I end up more mad and bitter than I was in the beginning, so in a sense it backfires for me because its hard to make a point in an argument or discussion when you're just getting more upset by the minute as your head is filled with thoughts that are even harder to explain.
5. What do you do to manage your anger? How effective are these strategies? I try my hardest to busy my mind with other things if I'm mad or upset about something. I find that if I don't think about what's bugging me then I'll cool down and feel better and be able to think straighter. Sometimes its hard to remember this strategy though...
