Got back home earlier this morning from my little road trip out west, hehe. I went to help my old youth pastor out at one of his youth group session thingies. I got to lead worship and stuff, which was really fun. But those kids were sooooo rowdy! Reminded me a lot of Planet Holy-wood (yes, Holy-wood, hehe) in the yester-years.
*Sigh*.....tomorrow I'm going on a retreat with my college ministry group down south. Should be fun times (hopefully), especially cuz afterwards I get to see some friends of mine from where I used to live before I started college.
Three for Thursday
1. Ladies, if you're single (or were at one time), what are three things about a date that you would never stand for? Hm...a guy who's not a gentleman, someone who obviously checks out other girls while I'm freakin' standing right there, and then the thing right now that just irks the crap out of me is when we try to make a decision about going somewhere or picking out a movie and the guy thinks he's being courteous by always letting me make the decision when it doesn't matter to me at all....PLEASE would someone just make a decision!! AHH!!
2. What are the three most romantic (or sweetest) things any of your dates did for you? I sat and thought for the longest time on this one...to be honest there's nothing really spectacular to list besides the usual things, like flowers, a letter...um...yeah. I've never had anything out of the ordinary that I would catagorize as "most romantic/sweetest"...sure I've had guys do sweet things for me...but nothing that's ever blown me away. I figure when I meet the guy that can actually do that, I'm totally marrying him, lol.
3. Ladies and Gentlemen, what are the three things you've admired in a date? As a person? Well...out of the guy's I've dated I've admired the poetic seriousness and creativity of Andre, the spiritual passion of Alex and the good humor of David.
4. What is the absolute very worst date you've ever been on? Um...I can't really place what would be the "worst" date. My first two boyfriends I don't remember too much of because that was over 5yrs ago...me and my third boyfriend were in a long distance relationship for most of the time and then with David we were only together for like 4 months....sooo...I really can't say much, lol.
BONUS: Ladies, Would you object if your date suggested that you "kick-in" for any part of the cost of your date? Of course not, but really its always been like if one of us doesn't have money then the other pays...like an ongoing thing. At least, I think that's how it was mostly with Alex. And then David would usually say that he didn't like it when I paid for something myself because he was working and I wasn't, and he was just a gentleman like that, but I don't mind either way really.
BONUS-BONUS: Did you ever have a date you really liked and thought it might lead to something so much more but he/she slipped away? Yup...I hate it when that happens.
Thursday Thumb-Twiddler
1. If you were President, under what circumstances -- if any -- would it be okay for you to lie to the public? If whatever the truth was would cause mass panic throughout my country and the governments ability to prevent the problem would rely on the population staying calm and ignorant...this wouldn't apply like Osama running around America but more like the situation in Armageddon with some great catastrophe about to strike.
2. If you were running for office, and knew that you could win if your campaign spread malicious -- and false -- rumors about your opponent, would you do so? What if it was the only way to win? What if your opponent were doing it to you, first? No, of course I wouldn't. Politics are already corrupted enough and lying your way to the top is in no way a display of good leadership. If it were the only way to win, well then I guess I would lose. And if my opponent were doing it to me first I would just combat the lies by denying them and providing as much evidence as I could that they were false...I would never try and mud-sling back. I just have a thing for dishonesty.
3. If you could break or smash any object you wanted against a brick wall whenever you needed to vent frustration, what object would you choose? Anything that made a loud noise and broke into a zillion pieces. Like glass or something...heh...
Thursday Three
1. What opperating system do you use? Windows XP Home
2. Do you use any blogging software? If yes, which one and why? Yup, Movable Type, because its easy to customize and I love the comment/trackback system.
3. What other programs do you use regularly? Photoshop 7, Dreamweaver MX, Macromedia Flash, LeechFTP, Ahead Nero, Screenshot Wizard, LogonStudio, WinZip, ObjectDesktop, WinAmp, Trillian, AIM...I think that's it...hehe...
Thursday Threesome
Onesome: Saturday- Is Saturday a day to relax, maybe do something fun, or is it a day spent on the run? Do you need a day off to rest from your day off? Tell us about your day! ::: Lol, that depends on things like what I did on Friday, if I have any homework, if I have online exams, etc, if I'm driving to Tampa...usually its a relaxing day though.
Sleeeeeeep!!!!!
Twosome: Morning- What's different about your weekend morning routine than the other days of the week? ::: Most weekdays I get up and take an immediate shower, pack up my laptop and head to classes to take notes, etc. Weekends, however, my laptop stays on my desk (if I'm not traveling) and I do things more at my leisure.
Threesome: Cartoons- Do you have a favourite one? Do you still watch it and/or other cartoons? ::: Kim Possible! Call me beep me if you wanna reach me....actually, I dunno! Hehe...when I watch TV nowadays its usually TLC with the Stories and then the different Trading Spaces and reality shows...not so much as cartoons anymore. *Waves goodbye to childhood...* ....
