The Memes List

Saturday Slant
What song most affects you? Hmm....its hard to say really. There are so many songs that have different types of effects on me. Songs by Third Day have incredible spiritual effects on my life...John Mayer, Michelle Branch, and Dashboard Confessional really hit on the way I feel about love and certain moments....there are probably more....its just difficult to pick a specific song.

Daily Dirt
1. What time do you wake up on Saturday? Erm...well this morning I woke up at like 2pm, hehe.
2. How many meals you eat on Saturday? Whenever I remember to eat its probably like one or two and then I snack the rest of the day.
3. What time will you take a bath/shower? Usually whenever I wake up.
4. Do you make plans to go out on Saturday or planned in in the weekdays? Usually the weekdays...sometimes we plan things on the spur of the moment, which is always fun. ^.^
5. If you were to go out, what time will you usually be back home? Got home last night at about 3:30am, hehe, so I guess it just depends on what I"m doing. ^.^

Saturday 8 (shortened questions)
1. Do you believe animated movies can be just as enjoyable as non-animated ones? Does it depend what kind? Most definitely. In my current DVD collection animated films are catching up with the number of non-animated ones, hehe. It doesn't really depend on what kind...although I am definitely partial to films like Finding Nemo and Toy Story which are 3D animated. I like Anime too...but not the adult type...stuff by Miyazaki is my fave anime. ^.^
2. Do you have friends or know people that won't see animated movies? Hmm...not that I know of...everyone needs animation in their lives, hehe...brings back your imagination that sometimes gets away from you through stress and other everyday things.
3. There are some great books out there too, like Harry Potter. Have you read any of the Harry Potter series, or perhaps another series that may be called a children's series? Haven't read Harry Potter although my sisters have. I've wanted to read them as well as this kid series my sister has called A Series of Unfortunate Events which sounds like a fun read, hehe. If I had more time (and money) I would definitely get into reading that stuff.
4. I know some people that enjoy reading children's books and others that just scoff at it. "Bloody Hell won't be catchin' me reading such things", they say. If you do read them, do you discuss them with your friends, or keep it to yourself? If you don't read them, did you used to and if so, why did you stop? Nope, I would if I could though. See above answer to question #3.
5. What about things strictly marketed towards children, like Legos, paint by number, finger paint, comicbooks, etc. Do you still like any toys from when you were younger? Have you acquired new kinds of toys? Dude, if I feel like buying a toy I will so buy it! I get Neopets merchandise still...liked stuffed animals and games, etc, because it just rocks, hehe. Umm...and in reality I guess "toys" for me would be anything having to do with computers or tech-y things...like my wireless mouse, webcam, zip drive, digital camera, camera phone, and things I really want...like a Wacom drawing tablet and a DVD/VHS combo machine! Whoohoo! Christmas is only like a month away...hehe...
6. Do today's toys look interesting to you and how do you compare them to toys you had when you were younger? Oh heck yeah...its SO not fair on all the toys that kids have these days. I go visit my youth pastor and his family and I play with his 2yr old daughter in her room and she has oodles and oodles of plastic cooking stuff and a carpenter bench and TONS of play-doh goodies...a mountain of cool stuffed animals, a tent, lots of books, a play mat, a swimming pool....no she's not spoiled...hehe. ^.^
7. Maybe you have children, maybe not, but do you find yourself protective of something or someone? Do you ever feel overprotective? I protective of my sisters...which kills me sometimes because I don't live with them anymore...so I can't watch over them like I was able to when I was still in high school. Its sad...
8. Is there anything you've held on to through the years, be it books, or watching cartoons, or even still playing games like Dungeons and Dragons? If so what and why? I still collect stuffed tigers...I have a Super NES that I love to play, hehe...sometimes I'll watch cartoons or kid shows even though all the good ones left television years ago (like Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts, Pete and Pete, Fraggle Rock, Rainbow Brite, etc). Aww...I'm getting really nostalgic now...hehe...
