Random Question
Which of the following do you think most influences a person to become an artist: desire, talent, practice, environment, or encouragement? Why? I would think desire. The desire to express emotion...seriously...because even though people can create art to represent a building or person or something...its usually to try to capture a certain emotion or aspect of life...where the artist has a desire to convey their opinion or feeling towards their subject and to share that with the world. An artists dream (well, at least mine) is to be able to create something and have someone look at it and say "wow, I totally understand that"...and truly mean it. Because isn't that what most of the world is looking for? Someone to understand them?
Hello! Thank you! No, I don’t really think that most artists are satisfied that people get their work. Everyone has their own interpretation of things, in my opinion, and something that could represent pain for one person could represent love for another. It can be controversial, I believe. Explaining art is like explaining emotion, its pretty difficult. But I would think that any artist would consider any type of remote interpretation of their art by a viewer as a success towards their goal…to change the way someone thinks.
