Days Go By

And I can feel them flying...very quickly. :) So first and foremost, I plead the 2nd, hehe! And we'll leave it at that. I've missed everyone though! :D

There is a very wiggly, attention-hogging kitty sitting at my feet. Well, more like he is entwined around my feet! Cody has gotten so big these past few weeks! I haven't taken many pictures lately but I'll have to soon. We just started letting him go outside on his own, technically. He gets to go out when Oreo goes out, hehe. But lucky for me, the worried momma, he's stuck pretty close to the house. :) Every time he comes home I always give him a treat, so hopefully that will help reinforce the habit. Anyone have any tips on outside cats?

The Quilting Bee now has a custom-made BBS made by the wonderful Bubs! Seriously, the club continues to amaze me with all the new things that have been happening over the past few months. It's awesome to be a part of such a great community, I love it! Consider checking out the Q*Bee if you haven't yet, we're a fun and welcoming group of people! :D

Sim City Societies

I definitely need to update this place with some 1337 new features. The design I still like, but maybe I'll add a couple more for visitors to choose from like I did last year. We'll have to see, I must do some major brainstorming.

I've bought and played a few games since I last posted: The Settlers and WC3:FT. Both are RTS games for the PC. I also preordered the drool-worthy Sim City Societies which comes out in November. That game is going to be amazing! If you loved the old Sim City games, you will positively flip over the features in this new edition. I will have to review it here after I play! :D

Who's ready for Halloween?! I know I am! I can't wait to hand out candy tomorrow! Have a spooOoOoOooky day! :D

It took me awhile getting comfortable letting my two girls outside when I moved, because previously I had lost two cats when I was living back home. Both of them disappeared when being let outside so I was hesitant again. However, the fact I got Izzie and Bella chipped made me feel a lot better. I think getting your cats chipped and making sure you put them on a routine is good, like with my girls they know that around 10pm it’s bedtime. Also make sure they have access to go in an out as they please. Again, when I was living back home my cats had to be let in and out, which I think caused them to feel like they had to choose whether they really wanted to come in or just stay outside.

I know how you feel about Halloween! This is my first Halloween where I actually get to give out candy to trick-or-treaters. At my old house we lived in an area where no one could go trick-or-treating because the houses were too far apart. I’m so excited though! I have the Disneyland soundtrack and am gonna have my stereo set up to play the “Haunted Mansion” when kids walk by! :D

I really miss seeing you around here! Please don’t make it too long in between blogs.

Oooh…an new SimCity game? I’ll have to add it to my wishlist.
