Why, Melissa...why are you sitting here writing a blog entry and playing your guitar when you should be writing your term paper due on Monday. Yeah I have a lovely 8-page paper due Monday afternoon....and I've only written one paragraph! Whoohoo! It's ok...the paragraph takes up half the page. So really I only have 7 and a half more pages to write! Go me! I know...I'm pretty pathetic. Yeah, I'm following these guidelines I found the other day on the internet while researching for my subject: How to Write a Term Paper. Very nice. I think I'll do alright on my finals this week. I just hope I get a summer job! 8) Questions from Terrible Beauty 1 . Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18. Find line 4 and write down what it says. "Clunk." - Ice by Shane Johnson 2. Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first? A white candle sitting on this multicolored glass candleholder my roommate bought me when she went to the mall one day. 3. What is the last thing you watched on TV? Mission Impossible on HBO The Zone! 4. WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what the time is. Four in the morning. 5. Now look at the clock, what is the actual time? 3:46pm! Definitely close. 6. With the exception of the computer, what can you hear? My floor fan that almost always runs. 7. When did you last step outside? What were you doing? I left the apartment to go to a friend's house a few hours ago. 8. Before you came to this website, what did you look at? Geekgrrl.com, Kitta.net, Gigglechick.com, Branille.net and my own site. 9. What are you wearing? Boxers & a grey tshirt. 10. Did you dream last night? Yep! But I can't really remember what about. 11. When did you last laugh? LOL, when I visited Melissa's blog and read a funny entry. 12. What is on the walls of the room you are in? I'm in my own room...there are movie posters and other types of posters...a bunch of photos I printed from my B&W photography class, a couple bulletin boards, a calendar, my Black Belt Club shirt from Taekwondo with my Red/Yellow Masters belt and a medal hanging on either side of it, and a few other things. 13. Seen anything weird lately? I was driving home yesterday and at a stoplight I just happened to look in my rearview mirror and the guy behind me was picking his nose! He sat there digging around for almost the entire time. It was amusing and disgusting at the same time. 14. Last movie you saw? Mission Impossible on the TV, The Prince & Me in the theater. 15. If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first? Well...after I made sure I had enough to pay for my and my sisters' entire college expenses and I saw that my parents and my family were taken care of I'd probably buy a laptop! Hehe... 16. Tell me something about you that I don't know. I really want some chocolate right now. 17. If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do? I honestly don't know. It's easy to say I would want to end world hunger or stop all wars or fix the environment...but I guess one of the things I'd like to see stopped more than anything is the horrible way people treat each other. If attitudes about life and fellow man were different then I think alot of other stuff (war, etc) would follow up. Of course, that idea isn't realistic...but what big dreams like that really are? 18. Do you like to dance? Hell yeah...but I don't get the chance that often. 19. George Bush: is he a power-crazy nutcase or someone who is finally doing something that has needed to be done for years? I like Bush...but I'm not big on politics at the moment so I don't know really. 20. Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her? I don't know. 21. [Same question for a boy] I've always liked the name Caleb...but that stuff doesn't really matter to me right now because I don't see myself getting married anytime soon so why should I think about it. 22. Would you ever consider living abroad? I already have...about half of my life has been spent living out of my home country, which is the USA. I'm a military brat.
