Sneaky Sneaky!

"You underestimate the sneakiness, sir!" Emilio Lopez the Butler in Mr. Deeds.
From Question of the Day: Do you snoop around for your Christmas presents? Oooh. I remember doing that when I was little. I was really big on the American Girl dolls when I was 10, especially the Molly doll, who's character was set back in 1944 during WWII. I have a thing for history, especially that era, so I loved everything about that doll! It was the only kind of doll I ever wanted when I was a kid, I wasn't much of a "Barbie" girl. I had begged and begged my parents to get it for me for Christmas, I remember, hehe. :) So one night while they were out, I snooped in their closet and found dolls for me and my sisters! Including my Molly doll! :D I acted surprised on Christmas morning, hehe. Here's a bit about that doll, which I still have packed away somewhere. Keeping it for memory's sake. :)
Molly McIntire from Pleasant Company
Molly McIntire must count on her own resourcefulness to rally hope on the home front during World War Two. As a girl growing up in 1944, Molly wishes the war had never happened. She greatly misses Dad, who’s far away helping wounded soldiers overseas. Molly knows the fastest way for Dad to come home is for the war to end. She leads the charge in helping with the war effort by knitting blankets for soldiers, collecting scrap metal, and even opening her home to Emily, a girl who’s escaped war-torn England. Molly learns the importance of pulling together—just as her country must do to win the war.
