Happy summer! It really does feel like summertime right now, don't you think? At least to me! My family came down for my younger sister Lisa's ROTC Drill Team nationals this past weekend! What's awesome is that her team placed 5th place in the exhibition division! How awesome is that! My other sister Amy and I spent alot of time catching waves with our bodyboards at the beach...Lisa and her friend bought wakeboards and were attempting to skim around the shallow areas, they didn't do too bad, hehe. I'll definitely post some pictures up here as soon as I get my dad to email them to me. I got a pretty good tan from that trip too, which is very good. My car is finally finished with all its maintainence. New brakes, new tires, geez. Time spent in that waiting room at the dealership totals about 9 hours, I'm not kidding. Four waiting for the tires last week and a little over 5 hours waiting for the rest of it yesterday. But oh well, the guy was really nice and took off 10% for the brake job, which definitely helps...overall at least I can drive around without having to worry very much now. Right now the only responsibilities I have are to return my AFROTC uniforms to the office, be on call for work, and attempt to get my money issues resolved. I'm happy to have narrowed it down.
