Things Are Lookin’ Up!

January 24th, 2004

Whee! I'm in a pretty cheerful mood right now. Mostly because the work I thought I had to do over the weekend has been greatly minimized. :) I got all my paperwork done yesterday for ROTC and it's all turned in, I might even get my uniforms next week!! I also completed my first programming assignment for my C-Programming class much sooner than expected which I'm very glad. Programming really is quite interesting but nothing I'd ever want to do for a career...too much math involved. I got my photo paper and some extra supplies and am going into the lab this afternoon with Becky to finish up some things for our Monday class. Everything's going good! Much much much better than last week and the week before, which were awful.

Also, I had wanted to go out of town last weekend to visit my old youth pastor and his family and get my fish from them but wasn't able to. So I decided since I finished most of my work I'll go up tonight after the photo lab and come back tomorrow afternoon or night at some point. Nice-ness! :) I need to pick some praise songs to lead for Sunday School tomorrow morning and make a few powerpoints.

Oh yes, and I think I've figured out what I want to do with this site...I'm going to try to make some major efforts to get it working almost completely in flash. Yup...and I might have a version that's non-flash, but it will be more generic. And it's pretty much just going to be a portfolio thing for my photos that I'll be developing in my class as well as maybe a few other things. I'll still have link exchanges such as the Quilting Bee, etc, but most other things will be different. We'll just have to see. :)

Ok, gotta go finish laundry and a few other things before I head over to the photo lab, see ya! :D
