Yes, I am back.

I have several resolutions for the new year, including keeping up as best I can with my blog.
Finally, right?
Well, with a new year comes a new version of
Wordpress! Version 2.0 is quite sleek and snazzy so far. The dev team did a great job at incorporating a ton more features, inluding new theme editing options, faster posting and better spam security. Check out the new hotness in all its glory
here.

One big reason why I wanted to bring myself back to the web in full strength was to keep an ongoing record of my weight loss goals. Now, I'm definitely
not fat, I only weigh 166lbs according to my cheap bathroom scale. However, in doing research back in December on having a long-term healthy lifestyle, and maybe wanting to maybe fit into a wedding dress whenever I get married sometime in the future, I decided I really did want to try to kick out of my lazy-college-eat-chips-and-chocolate-24/7 habits.
So I signed myself up for the
Discovery Health 2006 National Body Challenge! According to their handy body mass index calculator, I need to lose about 18lbs to be at a healthy level for my age and height. The challenge starts this Saturday, January 14th, and is a 6-week challenge for anyone of any age, including families. If you sign up before the 14th (I think), you can even get a free 8-week pass to Bally Total Fitness! Aside from that, Discovery Health has the entire six weeks planned out in exercise and meal programs and a great progress tracker to keep up with how you're doing. If you weigh in by each deadline you get entered into a drawing to recieve prizes! Everything sounds great to me, overall I know I just need more motivation to do this.

It get's way to easy to just sit and snack on things while I'm at the computer playing
WoW.
Yep, I am still playing
World of Warcraft.

It's been over a year now and I am still not tired of that game yet. I still play
Roshata, my Tauren Hunter, and I'm still in a top guild on my sever,
Lords of Honor, with a bunch of my friends and my boyfriend, Chaz (Hugo).

I am also the author of a mod compilation pack,
GroovyUI, that is quickly rising in popularity with over 7000 downloads on
Curse-Gaming.com! It is also available for download on other sites as well, but that one has the most. I'm quite proud of that achievement.

Overall my life
roxxors right now, aside from being far away from Chaz and having to bear with the loud screeches of my air conditioning unit in my apartment at times. I swear that thing is as moody as a woman with PMS.

I
promise to update as often as I can to try to get this thing rolling again.

Blogroll me and leave me some comments!
