The Rosetta Legacy

I was checking out Sims 2 stuff the other day and discovered something called the Legacy Challenge! It's when you start from one created Sim and raise ten generations from them. Some of the rules of the challenge are that you cannot use mods or hacks, can't use custom objects (yes to recolors though), and can only use certain cheats. If you end up "breaking" some of the rules it will cost you penalty points.

The challenge itself goes by the honor system, so to speak. Meaning you keep track of your own points. There isn't anyone to "chaperone" you, although it's lame if you cheat on the challenge. :P There are also several unique parts to the challenge as well, like "collections" and extra points based on things you can achieve. Very cool! :D

I've started my first Legacy Family, the Rosettas! However, it really is just a practice family and I'm keeping the challenge simple for myself. However, I've realized that playing without cheats and hacks is actually much more enjoyable to me! The game actually goes much quicker and I find myself not getting tired of the Sims I create. I've even discovered tons of cool things that I hadn't before! :D It's awesome!

As the Rosetta family's story progresses, I'll update this page with screenshots of their lives. It's been really fun so far! :D
