Someone started a thread on Snark about this adorable breed of cats called Toygers! I am positively in love with them! Why? Because tigers are my favorite animal and cats are my favorite pet! So it is only natural for me to be enthralled by the possibility of having a combination of both for the ultimate pet!
Aren't they adorable?
Toygers are a glittered new designer breed of domestic cat, reminiscent of a toy tiger. ~ Toygers.org
Someday I will have one of these sweet little animals for my very own!
I will have to keep an eye on where the breeders are located.
I've also been meaning to mention a few of my favorite Firefox Addons for a while. There are certain ones I've found recently that are just simply amazing and I have no clue as to how my browsing experience existed before I installed them, hehe! So here we go!
Adblock Plus - A wonderful little goodie that blocks pretty much all of the ads on any website that you view. I'm serious! It will block everything! Meaning if there's an ad banner at the top of a website, all you'll see is just an extra line of space. And what's even better is that you can pick and choose which sites you wish to allow ads on. There is also a handy option in the right-click menu where you can block an ad automatically. A must-have.
ColorZilla - Allows you to grab colors from any web page to find its hex number! It works just like an eyedropper tool from an imaging program (like Photoshop). Awesome for getting that perfect color for a layout design. Some good color sites I suggest are: Kuler, ColorMatch and Color Scheme Generator.
Download Statusbar - Ok this addon just rocks my socks.
Before, when I downloaded things it would pop up that sometimes annoying downloads window that I'd have to minimize or close (even with the sidebar plugin, it bugged me). This addon takes all of those silly windows and turns them into a sleek status bar on the bottom of your browser that won't distract you. The bars will stack horizontally depending on how many downloads you have going and there are several options to customize as well. Could be my all around favorite right now!
HTML Validator - Validating is the new pink, so get with the trend, yo!
Hehe, but seriously, this is the best validator plugin I've found! What's great about the newest version is that you can have it run both the HTML and XHTML validators within the same source code page! This will definitely reduce the amount of time you spend trolling the W3C website.

Tiny Menu & UI Tweaker - These two go hand in hand for me, because they both help optimize and customize Firefox for a better browsing experience. Tiny Menu will collapse and replace your entire (or just what you choose) standard menu bar with a drop down menu. You can even substitute the icon or word for the menu on your bar! And UI Tweaks allows you to change little things about the browser, like removing and/or combining buttons. Both great space savers for toolbar freaks like me! I love my toolbars.

Web Developer - Honestly one of the best addons out there. It adds a toolbar to your browser with tons of options to help optimize your website! Have you ever wanted to see what your site looks like naked? Or just why that div layer won't sit right? Or find broken images in your site? Those are just a few of the tons of available features this addon has to offer. Check it out for yourself!

Oh yes and very exciting, my dad was quoted in the online version of Time Magazine! Yay!
The article was talking about a specific event that happened a few months ago between the Iran and American/Iraqi armies that were patrolling the border of Iraq and Iran. The part that mentions my dad is the magazine's discussion of what is going on right now to protect that part of the border after what happened:

In the months after the incident, U.S. forces have kept up joint patrols on the Iran-Iraq border, where their movements are closely monitored by Iranian outposts. Increasingly, however, U.S. troops stationed in Diyala Province are moving to help counter-insurgency efforts in the Baqubah area, leaving a thinner American presence at the border.
"On some days," says Lt. Col. Ronald Ward, the U.S. commander tasked with helping Iraqi units maintain border security in the area, "no U.S. troops appear there at all."
A simple quote, but yay for my dad! I'm so proud of him.
What is great to realize is that what he is doing over there really is worthwhile.
Just two more things to say...House is the sexiest doctor on television and Sanjaya better get flippin' voted off this week. No more mohawks, kthxbai.
Have a great Tuesday, everyone!
