BlizzCon Tickets Murloc OOPS!

Deja vu?! Trying to access the checkout page for the Blizzard Store to buy BlizzCon tickets reminds me of the fun few hours I refreshed to get Firefox 3. :P

However, the "stress" to get FF3 was more of a "ha ha" at all the hype and less of a necessity. With BlizzCon tickets on the line (at $100 a pop) that sold out in less than two days last year...aarrrg! XO

Everyone trying to get tickets is now seeing this fun little green guy (called a murloc) with an "oops" flag in his hand. Blizzard has let us know on their forums that they are aware of the issue and trying to fix it...whoopie. :(

For those unaware, BlizzCon is a huge gaming convention for the Blizzard game company. Blizzard makes some of Chaz and my favorite games (like World of Warcraft) and we've been dying to attend the convention since it was first held in 2005.

Here's hoping the site gets fixed and we get our tickets! Ahhh! XD

Update @12am: WE HAVE THEM! :D After 12+ hours, it's official, hurrah! :dance: The site hiccuped constantly, lots of angry people on the forums. We were able to get in after the site came back up momentarily. Click, type, click and BOOM, we're off to California in October! :D

i’m thinking about going with my boyf too!!

however, we’re still debating since it IS $100 a pop plus hotel and airfare considering gas prices now….sigh

i wanna go though. <3 WOW! haha.

They’re sold out! :( The only way you can get tickets now is through eBay for like $1000. Gotta be quick with BlizzCon, it’s a coveted event. Last year tickets sold out within two days. This year they sold out within HOURS. Crazy, but worth it. :D

I got my brother a ticket for Blizzcon (the refreshing was killing us! we had two computer’s going at it til mine was the lucky one). Once I got his, the site went down again and then they were sold out. So crazy.

That’s exactly what happened to us! We got ours in like a 5 minute window before the site went down for the rest of the night. So lucky! :dance: Glad you were able to get one for your brother, I’m sure he’s too excited. :D

I live 2 hours south of Anaheim & I expect to see you missy! Congrats on gettin the tickets! At least if you cant go you know you can make your money back ten fold.
