The National Weather Service issued a freeze warning for all of Central Florida as the region prepared for some of the coldest weather of the year. "Temperatures will drop below freezing in most locations," Local 6 meteorologist Larry Mowry said.
"In the city of Orlando, temperatures will be down to 34 degrees. There will be some frost but we will escape a freeze in Orlando. So, we have a cold night ahead of us."
Ok, Florida, with your weird weather. It is time to become what you are known for: the Sunshine state! Not the I-Want-Snowflakes state! I love snow and cold weather, but not in Florida when it flip flops from cold to hot and back again. But if it really wants to be chilly all the time then it should snow! Give us snowmen! 
The only thing that's good about this weather is that I can leave my air conditioner off! Woot for low electric bills! It's also a cheap unit, too, and it makes weird grinding noises often. Imagine one of those cheap hotel wall things where the only temperature choices you have are "red" and "blue". 
For what I'm paying for this place, you'd think I'd get to know what temperature my apartment is at! Rawr! Oh well, guess I need to break out the :coffee: hot cocoa and blankets!
I installed a forum today! And made it look cool, too, woot! It is just a very simple thing to hopefully eventually get more interactivity going on here! The script I used is called bbPress, a very simple forum script from the creators of 
Wordpress! What's cool is that you can choose to integrate it into your WP blog if you want. I kept mine separate, just because I was too lazy to do the integrating thing and I kind of wanted to keep both blog and forum on different databases. But it's up and running! Feel free to get into discussion if you like, or if you're bored, hehe. 
I also started on "updating" and re-formatting all of my old archived posts, mostly to check for broken links and images. I'm up to January of 2004, but I had to take a break for a little while. I will get that to-do list done!
Yeah, I can only imagine the chilliness that is the north. Chaz (bf in KY) was telling me about all the snow he was getting, woo! I like snow though.
Would rather have snow than this weirdness here! 
And yay, thanks for the compliment on the forum! Even if no one or not a lot of people end up signing up for it, I still like it because it looks purty!
