Holy inflation!!!! Did you SEE the gas prices today??? Freakin' $1.57 when only yesterday it was $1.47 (this is at a local BP)!!! A whole 10 cent difference!! AHHH!!! And that is ALOT for gas, especially in an overnight change...sheesh....you'd think we were rationing cuz of the war or something...I dunno about you but I'm not up to planting a Victory Garden very soon or donating all the scrap metal and rubber I have lying around (sarcasm noted). I happen to be lucky and get 30 miles a gallon in gas mileage on my 10-gallon Echo....but I feel sorry for people with gas guzzlers like Hummers, Expeditions and aircraft carriers, etc....yikes. 
Doesn't the government know that there are poor college students in the country who need to pay for expensive photography equipment and a sufficient supply of Mountain Dew to at least last one month??? I need to FEED MY FISH for crying out loud! How are poor starving CJ, Gil and Coral going to feel if I can't even afford decent fish food because of rising prices??
Sooner or later, if this keeps up, I'm going to have to sit on the corner of some street and play lover's lament songs on my guitar just to make petty change to afford a loaf of bread and some decent frozen pizzas. What is this country coming to if it ends up being where we all walk into Wal-Mart and stare longingly at the candy section thinking "those were the days when I could afford a Twix bar" or something. Outrageous, I tell you. 
hey melissa - the new layout looks good. i can’t wait until springtime! well, about graduation - i’ll stop doing schoolwork in like, late may, early june..that’s just when the ceremony is. man, that sucks about the rising gas prices..hope you can save a little bit for your fish. :-) laterz!
