What better way to welcome the Spring season than with a new layout design!
This actually took me less time than I thought it would and I'm hella glad. I do like my last theme, but I got a little tired of it after a while. I hope that this one is a bit more colorful and organized for everyone! I'm going to work on my pages next, making sure they all look good with this design. Also, I'm going to keep weeding out the unecessary things that I decided visitors weren't interested in, according to my CrazyEgg results for the last site test I ran.
We recorded a new episode of the :podcast: podcast on Thursday and it should be available for listening this weekend! Our topics cover mostly web technology, Google stuff took priority. One of the neato things that have come out lately is themeing for the Google homepage! You can now spice up the page with cool themes that change according to what time of day it is for you, which is wicked. My favorite is "Tea House".
Another thing I wanted to plug was the CSS Naked Day event!
The idea behind this event is to promote Web Standards. Plain and simple. This includes proper use of (x)html, semantic markup, a good hierarchy structure, and; well, a fun play on words. I mean, who doesn't want to get naked? ~ CSS Naked Day
You know you wanna participate! For one day (April 5th) just remove your CSS file from your site, stripping it down to its skivvies! I'm totally getting in on this. I've already tested to see how my site will look without a style, and it's bare but not too ugly, hehe! Luckily, there's a universal snippet of text you can add to the top of your page to explain the nakedness so your visitors won't be confused. And it's only for one day, so no worries!
Oh yeah! On March 22nd Chaz and I celebrated two years of dating! Woot! Yay for us!
I'll post when the podcast goes up! Have a great Saturday!

Yay! Thank you!
I really love this layout lots! Oh but don’t worry, I am bringing back the style switcher as soon as I sync up the stylesheets. Then the black rainbow style will be back.
