Why oh why is car maintainence
so expensive!
I went in to get new tires today and was there for almost four hours too...I'm so worn out from the wait. It's not the service department's fault or anything...that is just how long it takes for new tires and a re-alignment. The bad thing is that the guy told me that I need new front and rear breaks along with a replacement of some part that has a crack in it. Not good. I couldn't afford any of that stuff today so I'm coming back in on Monday when I've petitioned my parents for a little help. *Sigh*...
the price of transportation.
Lol, during my lengthy visit to their waiting room I watched the last of an Oprah episode, the 6 o'clock news, and a round of Jeopardy. I've decided that TV news is too depressing...maybe that's why I feel so down....all the stories about people being mugged and murdered in the streets, auto thefts and drug busts involving kids, and an endless array of car accidents with closeups of the effects. I don't like getting an update on the number of American soldiers killed in the war against terrorism every two seconds...I'd actually rather hear about how the morale is of our current soldiers
who are still alive. Sure, let's please remember those who died fighting victoriously for our cause...heck, I even link to a page on my own site where it displays the pictures and info of soldiers who've passed away....but that's all the news seems to cover nowadays... *sigh* ...
Ok, Sarah Beth just came over and we're going out for pizza...I hope I didn't depress anyone with my rant, lol...but have a lovely weekend nonetheless!

I know what you mean about the high price of car maintance - my boyfriend works for GM though and he just gets the job done for next to nothing. Thank goodness. The news is depressing and I’m with you on reporting on how the solders who are still alive are. Have fun getting pizza! That’s always fun!
Tires..I buy my tires at Sam’s Club, cheap and fast service.
News…I know what you say about the news, every morning I turn on the TV while getting ready to do my stuff and all they talk about is fatal car crashes, rape, robbery, killings and all the bad stuff happening here in O-town…It just sucks!!
car, yup, my brake is all worned out too, but it’s SO expensive to get a new one. I’ll probably gonna die in a car accident about that. You’ll know when I suddenly disappear lol
