[x] Low carbing is huge news in the media these days. What are the pros and cons of low carbing?
Hmm...pros. Let's think. Pros would definitely be losing weight faster if carbs are pretty much all that you seem to eat. Take me for example...I live on pasta and bread mostly, hehe. The stuff is good and it's cheap on my college budget. If I cut back more I'm sure I'd lose weight faster as time goes on but its hard.
Cons would be I'd have to give up all those yummy foods that are my favorite...I just can't get over a good dinner of a baked potato with cheese/butter or a big plate of steaming pasta with parmesean cheese and a large slice of french bread with butter...don't forget the Mountain Dew! Or orange juice....Oooh...that sounds good right now...
But for the record...I have to hand it to the Air Force for helping me lose a few pounds in the last month or so...its gotta be that horribly tiring early morning workout routine...yup. :p Lol.
I believe the low carb diet is nothing but a marketing fad. You only need to avoid lots of carbs if your blood sugar is over 120. (borderline diabetes).
Good night
I like your new layout on your page. There is nothing I like better than a pretty girl like yourself, that dresses in leather and plays the guitar (or any musical instrument). You are very pretty, Melissa.
So you are now in the Air Force? What is basic training like? You probably do not have the time to respond to messages if you’re in basic training! Good luck to you, Melissa, and please, don’t be sent to Iraq ! Talk to you later, Brett here in Seattle, WA, and slightly geriatric. I hobble around with a cane in one hand, and a bottle of Geritol in the other (I’m 34!) Ancient!
Talk to you again!
P.S. ummm, like how many sharps are in the key of C# minor???
Melissa says: Lol, I don’t necessarily dress in leather…I just happen to like that graphic for my layout. Thank ya for the compliments.
I was thinking about the whole low carb thing but it would be too hard on my budget. Meat is too darn expensive to eat everyday.
