I wrote a song yesterday called Everything's Alright. For some reason its a love song and it was inspired randomly by a quote I saw in someone's AIM profile, lol. I thought "man, that would make a cool lyric", so I grabbed my guitar and wrote a song. The thing is when I sing the words it makes me think about that dreamy person that most people think about...I mean, I just watched the movie Pretty Woman tonight and I love stuff like that. 
Ok ok ok, as anyone who knows me or reads my blog often they know I don't get gooey and lovie all over chick flick related movies, and I've said this type of thing before. 
But sometimes I can't help it when I see a flick like that with such a real connection. Its the reality that's so worth it, so desirable. You see so many relationships based on dependence and control and material things in the world...its hard to find something real, you know? You date different people and have so many experiences you find yourself sick of it all and wanting the truth. 
You want to be with someone who makes you want to change who you are to be better...rather than wanting them for their body or money or because they buy you stuff, take you places, or always sleep with their arms around you. I'd rather have truth and realness than comfort and a rose beside my bed every morning.
I've dated jerks, sweet guys and overly-sweet guys...and I just want something real for a change. That's all. 
Oh Kim Kim Kim, you be too smart for me.
