If you didn't already know, my mom had some major surgery last Tuesday that I won't get into alot of details about. She was supposed to come home either Wednesday or Thursday...but tonight will be the 6th night she'll be in the hospital. There were some complications that landed her some more body damage than before, which isn't good at all. It was hard to visit her these past couple of days...because she has tubes and IVs and metal things all over the place and it's just kinda scary I guess.
I'll go as far as to describe what is keeping my mom there tonight. She might be able to come home tomorrow...that all depends on whether her stomach can take and digest real food besides the IV and liquids. She's had a tiny tube through her nose and throat ever since Friday I think...it is draining fluid out of her stomach. Now don't think that she's hanging by a thread or something...because she's really quite ok, just some different things going on. Hopefully they won't have to operate again on her because of these recent complications...if that happens she probably won't make it home for Christmas...which will be my (and my family's) first Christmas without her.
So...if you are the praying type, then please pray for my family and my mother...if you aren't...then just hope for us, for my mom to get better. Thanks guys.

You said she had a tube which went into her stomach, the same thing happened to my Pap.. he got out of the hospital this past Tuesday, and he still has a tube inside of him which he has to be fed through.
