I freakin' spoke too soon.
$100 dollar camera = automatic not manual = Best Buy lied to me = the Wal-Mart display camera as well = I hate Wal-Mart = drove for roughly 2hrs around the city trying to find a certain photography store = embarrassed myself in that same store with the cheapo camera = bought new camera for the grand total of $250. Short story.
