Guess what!? I got a
job!
Yeah! My first day was yesterday, Friday! I work for a surveying company now...doing stuff like filing excess paperwork and folders, putting together legal copies of drafts and information for clients, making revisions to those copies, organizing things....I guess you could say it is alot like executive assistant work, but the thing is I'm not the only one doing all these things. Everyone in the office pretty much does alot of the same type of work and I am one of the people who helps get the orders through at a faster pace by taking on any excess work...and there is a
lot. So it rocks.
I might go into more detail when I learn more about the job and get more experienced.

About a month from now a few bloggers from Tampa have put together the
Tampa Bay Bloggers' Fest! My fellow bloggin' friend
Branille and I are hoping to go.
They said that it doesn't matter that we aren't from Tampa, the more the merrier...so rock on!
Speaking of festivals...I'm trying to find an Anime Convention that's pretty local and is beginning anytime soon...but all the Con pages I've been to have announced that they've already held their festivities and won't be back until 2005. *Sigh*.... :o I hope I can go to one next year though. There are a few Anime clubs around here in O-town that I've been looking into, they sound pretty cool.
Anyone up for getting a
FREE iPod? I've heard that it works if you follow the directions and sign up! I can see how it would, too...you have to register with one of their sponsors for something (there is a list to choose from) and then get five people to do the same thing...after that they gaurantee you an iPod. Let's just see if it works. I'm not sure how many people would actually sign up for the sponsored offers though...that's the only drawback. Oh well...worth a try.
Well, gotta go! My friend Rew is coming to visit tomor-- er, I mean today!

Congrats on the new job! :grin: Glad to see you made it through Charley ok. The more I venture out into the city, the more I realize my guardian angel was working his butt off that night.
The Tampa party sounds cool, but I’ll be on a press trip out in California that week. But darn it…you’d think there’d be enough Orlando bloggers to do up a party here. LOL
