Take Mah Picture!

January 5th, 2004

Ahhh, first day of classes over. I definitely liked today...Beginning Photography will be an awesomely cool class...the only problem is that I have to buy a camera and mucho extra supplies which will cost me mucho extra moola.

So I applied for a job at Target today, I don't want to keep asking my parents for money until I (hopefully) get an ROTC scholarship this summer. So this semester is going to be seriously busy busy busy...I'm not sure where I'm going to get enough time to do much of anything...I might drop a class and take a different one that's on the web and more flexible than an on-campus lecture, but I dunno.

I need to go to the Registrar's office and make sure I have credit for those two english classes and the one history class...alot of classes I've tried to sign up for have had PR's for ENC1102, which I should get out of with my two AP scores for English. *Sigh*....the other class I had today was American Government...and the professor is a pretty cool guy and it's definitely gonna be a breeze...so I'll stick with it. I have to write an 8-10 page paper on some political topic by the end of the semester, but it's really not that bad at all. :) Now all I need is to get a manual 35mm camera by Wednesday...ouch. Does anybody know if Best Buy pays more than Target? Eek...

Joe and Mike finally got here at like 2am last night! Lol...we hung out until almost 4am before Keith and Bryan got done watching Pirates of the Caribbean and then went to sleep. Today we're probably gonna do our MJM traditional thing like back in highschool...which is to rent a particularly humorous film and eat food while watching it. They bought me coffee filters for my coffee maker while I was applying for Target, lol, and brewed my Hazel Nut coffee mix, which smells delicious, hehe. They'll leave tomorrow with Bryan and it will probably be a few months until I see mah good buddies again...*snif*...at least Mike, cuz he goes to school in TN. But for now this is a super duper little reunion...besides them putting dents into my favorite bar of soap, Joe spraying Spot Shot everywhere, and my Mountain Dew rations getting lower...hehe, it's all good times, lol.

Ok, hasta luego! :D

PS: And if anyone knows where I can get a 35mm camera of good quality, but cheap, on short notice, PLEASE leave a comment or email meeeee!!! Thanks!! ^-^
