Cheers from over here in...um...where I am! Since I'm not sure when the next time will be that I'll be able to blog I will try to make this post as interesting as possible for all and any new visitors that may grace my site with their precedence...presents...presence...*ahem*...or something like that. According to Flak Mag, the baby genius craze has finally hit it's peak in society. The most successful people during these times seem to be people in politics...so why not equip your kid early with the basic necessities for achieving power, glory, and a dominant dictatorship in a remote country. Rock on! Pack-rats can rest easy with some handy tips from Hilary at Digs Magazine. Utilize your clutter! Divide, organize, and conquer! Be one with those useful plastic boxes from Wal-Mart that you can neatly arrange and label according to their contents. Or you can be like me and just cram a bunch of stuff in there...shove it in a closet and be done. But where's the fun in that...right? The world of film-making has decided to go where no movie has gone before and produce the epic Kentucky Fried Movie...which actually came out in 2000 so I'm a little late on the announcement but the title threw me off so much I had to say something. If you like the nonsense comedy of Monty Python, Airplane, Naked Gun and The Police Squad you will love this flick. I haven't seen it...nor do I plan to...but I do happen to have a craving for hot wings. Yaaay. Found an interesting online game entitled Insaneaquarium where the object is to keep five fish alive in your tank. Sound ordinary? Nuh uh...beware of the leagues of fish-eating space aliens who will attack your poor helpless fishies at any time! There's lots more too...but a warning! According to Orange Magazine you shouldn't "play too long in the dark or your eyes will get more bloodshot than recommended for a non-alcoholic work environment. (Hot tip: keep Visine in the desk drawer.)" And lastly...don't forget to check out Strong Sad's Litany of Crushed Hopes and Dreams, the online journal of the beloved H*R character Strong Sad. If you're still bored this summer after stocking up on evil genius supplies, shoving stuff under your bed, watching movies with dry humor and fending off fish-munching space aliens...then this site will probably keep you entertained....at least until I blog again.
