Mind if I show my complete n00bness and ask what an aside is? I’m assuming it’s something to do with feeds since this post isn’t on your main page but I may be complete wrong!
I’ve been wanting to do it as well, But I’m too lazy to figure it out haha.
OH awesome! I LOVE it! I must try out this plugin :D! I’ve been working on a 3 column version of my recent layout and I was looking for more stuff to make it more feasible for a 3 column :D!

I tried the miniblog plugin the other day but couldn’t get it to work. Maybe I’ll have another go!

Well humph. I have it set up right, but its not pulling the post into the sidebar 
@Lexi: Yeah! Asides are bits of information that, for lack of a better phrase, you say on the “side”. Like if I felt like posting an update about something but didn’t want to make a whole official post about it, I would post it as an aside, or a side note! Asides will be linked in my sidebar.
Don’t worry, it is definitely not noobiness, this whole thing is, to my knowledge, just recently becoming more popular.
@Angela: Hehe, wanna see the Wordpress plugins for it? http://codex.wordpress.org/Adding_Asides … I use the one called “Sideblog” that they mention! Works great.
