Popups?!?!

Is anyone else who visits my site getting popups on the main page?? I can't figure out why its happening to me over here...there aren't supposed to be popups occuring on my website at all, I freakin' paid for a domain and hosting in order to get rid of advertisements. It could be a script I'm using somewhere but I'm not sure exactly what...it can't be my counter because I just switched yesterday...it can't be the Unkymood because I added that after the popups started "popping"...I just don't know. Any ideas? :p

I'll be gone this weekend on a retreat, probably without access to my email until Sunday afternoon. Just an FYI to all my adoring fans...*cough*. ;) See ya!

Anyways, someting like this happened to me before… does it do it on other web pages? Turned out for me that it was a program that had gotten onto my computer and added its code to my startup. Every webpage I went to then had a little navigation bar at the bottom for porn. :-/

Check the startup folder in your start bar for anything that shouldn’t be there. Then, go to start->run, and type in msconfig. Click on the startup tab at the top (note that this will not work if you run windows 2000) and uncheck anything that looks suspicious.

sounds like spyware. the best removal program i’ve used it called spybot: search and destroy–it’s better than adaware. you can find it on download.com.

I agree with eric. I had this issue once and was very upset at my host for a bit. Silly me.

A little ad-aware or the likes can go a long way. :)

Hello. =) First time visitor here. lol. I got here from.. Abbey. cyanide-eyes.net *nod* yepperly. I didn’t get any popups when I got here, so mebbe it’s just your computer? Or maybe there’s another program running that causes the popups? =\
