The upgrade to Wordpress 2.5 went quite smoothly! Quick installation with no errors. I don't mind the new admin panel style (although the orange color is not my fave) but I do love all the new little whizbangs of optimization and faster load times. One-click installs of plugins are awesome too.
I've added a couple of new little goodies around the site to make browsing more enjoyable. There is now a "recent posts/comments" below the current entry. Some shiny little buttons have appeared on the sidebar (view all snippets, view archives, etc) that you can click to go to more specific pages.
Probably my favorite new feature is the Feelin' Lucky? page, which you can reach by clicking the little four leaf clover next to the search box. Google-inspired, of course, it will generate a random post from my blog! But sorry, IE-users, the clover won't appear for you at the moment. The margins and floating in CSS weren't displaying correctly so I had to hide it from you for now.
I've also moved my Twitter updates to a little bubble at the top of the page instead of a box on the sidebar. I think it looks pretty cute up there! It should look ok in Firefox and IE.
On the backend side, the permalinks have changed to a friendlier output. Don't worry if you have previously linked any blog posts of mine on your site, they will automatically forward to the new link thanks to the Permalinks Migration plugin.
Last but not least, there is a new archives page along with a full tag cloud page for ease of use. I've also switched and installed a few new plugins to add more functionality for statistics (coming soon), usability (sitemaps, search, archives, etc) and fun stuff (random posts).
I'm totally not finished fixing up more little things on my site but I really couldn't hold off on keeping it closed any longer. I'll be touching up more features on the side in the coming weeks.
Happy weekend to all!

Thanks everyone!
Good luck!
Oh Rachael, you know you do an amazing job yourself.
Hehe, I emailed you my reply but for anyone else curious: nope, I heard about that error before I installed 2.5 and have it deactivated for the time being. Hopefully it will get fixed soon!
@Nanda: LOL, your comment made me smile this morning, it’s so upbeat! Since I can’t quote the whole thing (hehe!) I’m just gonna reply.
Good luck on your new Dutch site!
You’ll have to give me a link when you finish so I can go see! The tag cloud was actually added manually with the default WP template tags. I used one plugin for the archives page (the month/year part) called Smart Archives that is very customizable!
